Fr. Daniel Habib
I am a husband, father, son, brother, and neighbor.
Born in New York and raised in New Jersey, I went to NYU for my undergrad (majored in Philosophy), American University for my law school, Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology for my Masters in Theological Studies, and Fordham University for my PhD. I am currently writing my doctoral dissertation in Religious Education focusing on Practical Theology.
My love for Christ drives me to go on mission trips, serve the underprivileged who live close by, mentor youth, lead retreats, pray, fast, read and memorize Scripture, and most of all, learn to love God more and my neighbor more.
Favorite book: Ages of the Spiritual Life by Paul Evdokimov
Favorite Coptic hymn: Psalm 116/117 - Niethnos Teroo "Praise the Lord all you nations"
Favorite verse: Song of Songs 2:3 With great delight I sat in his shadow, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.
